This mini figure displays the male Lion, for females don’t have manes. A male lion leads its pride, which may contain a handful of males along with several females and their young. Males defend the pride’s territory against other hunters.

  • History: Lions are considered vulnerable throughout their range, which includes most of sub-Saharan Africa, except for regions of thick rainforest or heavily settled areas. Lions also maintain a tiny enclave in northwest India, the last remnant of Asian Lions. Lions were once more widespread in Africa, and their range extended into more of Asia and even Europe.
  • Scientific Name: Panthera leo
  • Characteristics: These attentive Lion figures display the incredible mane of the King of Beasts. They’d be excellent for school and sports team pride, or they are welcome at safari or Africa-themed events.
  • Size: These mini Lion figures are about the length of a paperclip, around an inch or so long.

    Claire ★★★★★

The mane detailing on these little lions is surprisingly crisp for such a small size, and the male pose with the raised head really captures that pride-leader vibe. I grabbed a pack to scatter through a safari-themed terrarium and they’ve held up great.

    Joshua ★★★★★

These little lions are perfect for teaching my kids about animal facts—the mane detail really shows off the male pride leader. I ordered two packs and every single piece came out clean, no defects. They're a great size for tiny hands to sort and play with.

    Henry B. ★★★★☆

The set comes with a good number of pieces for the price, though I wish the paint on a few of the manes was a bit sharper. They’re sturdy little figures, perfect for adding to a wildlife diorama or just for a collector who enjoys African animals.
