Fennec Foxes are small foxes with very large ears that are found only in the Sahara Desert in Africa. They are the smallest species in the family Canidae, which includes foxes, wolves, coyotes and wild dogs. Put some of these cuties in your pocket, or use them as decorations or giveaways at events and parties!

  • History: The Fennec Fox gets its name from the Berber word “fanak”, which means “fox”. This desert-dwelling mammal is recognized by its disproportionately large ears, which are the largest of all foxes in relation to their body size. The ears are full of blood vessels, which helps them regulate their body temperature in the hot desert environment.
  • Scientific Name: Vulpes zerda
  • Characteristics: This tiny Fennec Fox mini figure is looking quizzically to the left, with its large ears perked as if it’s just heard something.
  • Size: Fitting for the smallest canid in the world, each tiny Fennec Fox Good Luck Mini® figurine is just one inch long, the size of a small paperclip.

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of poses in the set—each little fox has its own unique stance. The pieces click together perfectly with no loose fits, and the desert-themed backdrop adds a nice touch.

    Sofia A. ★★★★★

The ear detail is incredible for such tiny pieces—each fox looks ready to perk up in the desert. I built one while waiting for coffee and it was a perfect little mental escape. The box's 192 pieces gave me just enough challenge without frustration.

    Eva B. ★★★★★

I was surprised by how much detail is packed into each little fox—those oversized ears really pop against the sandy color scheme. The 192-piece count means I’ve got enough to share with my niece while keeping a few for my desk.
