I opened the box expecting just a simple toy, but the detailed stages from lemon-shaped egg to adult worm kept my 8-year-old's attention for a full afternoon. We especially loved seeing the tiny hatchling model next to the grown one—really drives home how much they change over months.

My kids were fascinated by the lemon-shaped eggs and how they turn into hatchlings — it’s such a clever way to show something so tiny. The figures are sturdy enough for little hands, and it sparked a whole afternoon of worm questions I never expected.

The juvenile stage is often overlooked in life cycle kits, so I was thrilled this set includes those detailed, larger models. My kids spent a solid hour examining the tiny lemon-shaped eggs under a magnifying glass. It’s genuinely fascinating to see how complex a worm’s development is, month by mont
