The trigger mechanism is surprisingly sturdy for such a small toy, and my three-year-old figured out how to make the jaws snap in seconds. It's held up to some serious play without jamming, which is more than I can say for similar plastic animals we've had.

    George ★★★★★

My kids fight over who gets to snap the jaws shut—the trigger is tough enough to survive their enthusiastic yanking, which is rare for a toy under ten bucks. It's a nice change from all the battery-powered stuff cluttering the house.

    Miles S. ★★★★★

My nephew can't stop playing with the trigger mechanism—it's sturdy enough that even when he gets a little rough, it still snaps perfectly. The one-finger action is easy for his small hands to operate, and I love that there are no batteries to worry about. Kept him entertained for a solid hour witho
