The eggs and larvae are so realistic that my son thought he was looking at real specimens. It’s perfect for teaching the long development cycle without getting too complicated.

My 7-year old was fascinated by the clear plastic figures showing each stage, especially the huge larva. It’s amazing how detailed the eggs and pupa are, and it really helped him grasp the long 6-year growth cycle.

I’ve been looking for a way to show my kids how long some insects take to grow, and this set nails it with the six-year larval stage. The pupa figure is especially cool, since you can really see the transition. My son keeps picking it up to study the tiny details.
