V8 Race Car

We got the V8 Race Car kit for my nephew's birthday, and the gear assembly was detailed enough to keep him focused for a solid afternoon. It's a nice tactile way for him to learn how pistons move together.

My son had a blast building this engine kit—the gear mechanism really clicks into place smoothly. It kept him engaged for hours, and he learned a ton about how cars work.

The gearbox assembly was the perfect challenge for my 8-year-old, and seeing the pistons move as the wheels turned made the whole mechanical concept click for her. She’s already rebuilt it twice to test different gear ratios, and it’s held up solidly so far.
