My three-year-old loves threading the wooden planets onto the lace, and it's surprisingly good for building fine motor skills. The rocket pieces are painted in bright, space-themed colors that keep her attention focused during play.

The wooden rocket pieces are chunky enough for small hands to grip easily, and my son loved threading the string through each one to build his own spaceship. It kept him focused for a solid 20 minutes, which is rare for him.

My 4-year-old’s fine motor skills have improved noticeably since we started playing with this threading rocket; the thick, smooth wooden beads are easy for small hands to grasp and thread onto the cord. She loves pretending it’s blasting off to space each time she finishes a string.
