The pop-ups are so cleverly engineered that my son actually gasped when the angry monster burst off the page. He now asks to "read the feelings book" every night, and it's been a gentle way to start conversations about his own big emotions.

My three-year-old gets completely absorbed flipping through the pages and naming each monster's emotion, like anger being red. The pop-up art really brings the feelings to life in a way a flat book just couldn't.

The pop-ups are sturdy enough for my son’s excited grabbing, and the way each feeling gets its own color makes it so easy for him to point out what he’s feeling. We’ve read it every night this week and he still giggles when the anger monster jumps out.
