I've had this Leghorn chick for about a month now, and it's already starting to show those energetic foraging instincts I read about. The medium size and light weight make it easy to handle compared to my bigger hens.

It’s a sturdy little bird, and the six-to-seven-pound adult size feels just right in hand. The white Leghorn coloring is crisp and the feather texture looks surprisingly realistic.

We got the white Leghorn chick a few weeks ago, and it’s already growing fast—closer to the six-pound end than I expected. The feathering is coming in nicely, though I wish the description had mentioned how active they are compared to other breeds.
