The way each story is told from a different child's perspective really opened up conversation with my six-year-old about how other kids might feel in situations we hadn't thought of. We finished one story and just sat talking about kindness for twenty minutes.

My kids actually argued over who got to read first, which never happens. The stories from different children's viewpoints really opened up conversations about empathy that I didn't expect from a picture book.
