The little hooks actually make it challenging enough to keep a 5-year-old engaged for a solid half hour. We've been playing every evening since it arrived.

The rods are just the right weight for little hands, and the bright fish pieces kept my daughter entertained for a solid half hour. She was so proud every time she hooked one.

My nephew’s hand-eye coordination got a real workout with this set—the little fishing rods are just the right size for his hands. He spent a whole afternoon hooking the colorful plastic fish, and I was surprised how much he stayed focused. Definitely a fun, screen-free way to keep them busy.
