The switching mechanism works smoothly, and those short curve pieces allow for some really creative parallel track setups. My son spent a good hour just experimenting with different route combinations.

The cross-piece finally lets my layout go in four directions at once, which my toddler thinks is magic. Everything clicks together firmly with the rest of our wooden track set, no forcing needed.

The t-switch is the star here—it takes up barely any space but completely changes how the track flows. My kid figured out the cross piece in about five minutes and now builds a new layout every afternoon. Easily worth it if you already have a wooden railway set.
