Our Ancient Fossils Toob is perfect for anyone, from basic enthusiasts to actual paleontologists! It includes figurines of a dinosaur footprint, giant crab, ammonite, raptor claw, fossilized frog, trilobite, T-Rex tooth, fossilized fish, dinosaur skin, and a sea scorpion.

History: The main focus of paleontology, fossils are mainly studied in terms of their age, how they were formed, and any insight they give into our current taxonomy of species. Although new species are still being discovered, the modern goal of paleontology and the study of fossils is to fill out and properly order the tree of life. What secrets and previously unknown facts of evolution will you uncover when you dig up and analyze these incredible fossil figurines?

Characteristics: Individually hand painted and professionally crafted to be as scientifically accurate as possible, these figurines are great for imaginative play, insightful learning, or even as cute décor for your nightstand, or desk. Did you know that raptors’ unique arced claw is actually thought to be a predatory tool, similar to the talons of a bird?

Size: 1.5 inches long, 1.5 inches wide, and 12.8 inches tall, this Toob is a bit larger than the size of a standard American ruler and contains figurines of 10 different types of fossil that range from 1.25 to 3.75 inches tall.

All of our products are Non-toxic and BPA free

10 pieces per TOOB®. Contents Cannot Be Purchased Individually.

The crab and ammonite pieces have real heft and crisp sculpting, so they don't look or feel like cheap knockoffs. My kid's been sorting them by era and the footprint is a great conversation starter. Probably the best miniature set I've picked up in a while.

I was pleasantly surprised by the detail on the ammonite—you can actually see the spiral ridges clearly. The set has a nice variety of specimens, and the dinosaur footprint is a fun addition for a young collector.

Emma W. ★★★★☆ Oct 20, 2026

The raptor claw is nicely detailed and feels sturdy, though the frog fossil is a bit smaller than I expected. My son has been using them for a pretend dig, and they hold up well to rough play.
