Also known as lories, lorikeets are an extremely colorful bird found throughout Australia, Papua New Guinea, and southern Asia. Despite their stunning plumage, the most unique thing about lorikeets is their unique brush-tipped tongue, which allows them to drink nectar.

  • History: Although the terms lorikeet and lory tend to be subjective, the most common distinction between the two is that lorikeets have longer tails, whereas lories have shorter, more blunt tails. While you might think that their plumage causes them to stand out and be more susceptible to predators, it actually allows them to more effectively blend in with the canopy. Take home this amazing avian figurine today, or pick it up as a thoughtful gift for a bird lover you know!

    Sophia ★★★★★

I had been looking for a realistic bird toy forever, and the way this one captures the unique lorikeet beak shape is spot-on. My nephew spent a whole afternoon just studying the colors instead of tossing it aside. It's holding up great to his enthusiastic play.

    James ★★★★★

My kids were fascinated by the vibrant colors painted on this lorikeet toy, and the glossy finish really makes the feathers pop. It’s smaller than I expected but still perfect for their little hands to play with.

    Harper E. ★★★★★

The feather details and glossy finish make it look almost like a real lorikeet mid-perch, and the colors pop even under dim room light. My kid keeps pointing out the tiny claws and beak every time we walk past the shelf.
