In the Sky TOOB®

Take to the skies and soar above the world with this bundle of amazing mini aviation toy figurines! This TOOB® contains an executive jet, a biplane, a parachutist, a blimp, a Concorde, a shunt plane, a jet plane, a helicopter, a space shuttle, a hot air balloon, a small aircraft, and a jumbo jet.

Although many attempts were made previously, the Wright brothers’ flights in 1903 are most commonly recognized as the first controlled, stable flights. Since then, planes (and their more antiquated predecessors, blimps) and helicopters have shaped the development of the modern world. Used for travel, trade, weather observation, warfare, and more, much of civilization today would be very different if not for man’s dream to ascend into the heavens.

Characteristics: Use your imagination to take a relaxing and gentle ride in a hot air balloon while looking down at the sprawling landscapes, or launch through the atmosphere and into the stars inside the space shuttle! Whether it’s for play, education, or any other function you find for these colorful figurines, rest assured they’ll take you to new heights! These aircraft minis make great Montessori toys for teaching about technology and transportation.

Size: 1.5 inches long, 1.5 inches wide, and 12.8 inches tall, this TOOB® is a bit larger than the size of a standard American ruler and each figurine ranges from 1.25 to 3.75 inches tall.
