Speelgoed: octopus

I was amazed by how detailed the mimic patterns are on this toy, it really looks like a small coral reef creature. My kid has been carrying it around for hours, pointing out all the tiny suction cups.

The tentacles have this wonderful bendy quality that makes them look alive when you curl them around your finger, and the detailing on the suckers is surprisingly intricate for the price. My kid’s been carrying it everywhere since it arrived, which says a lot.

I've been reading up on octopus intelligence lately, so getting this model with its detailed arms and realistic texture feels like a perfect way to bring that fascination into my home. The soft, flexible material makes it fun to pose and display.
