The Thames & Kosmos Science Advent Calendar

The experiments are genuinely engaging, not just cheap trinkets—my kids argued over who got to open each day's door. The crystal-growing activity was the standout, keeping them busy for a solid hour.

The kids fight over whose turn it is each morning, and yesterday's baking soda volcano was a huge hit. That 24-day countdown idea is genius, every door is a surprise that actually teaches something new.

My 8-year-old has been eagerly checking the calendar each morning, and the mini chemistry set on day 3 was a real hit. It’s a fun way to sneak in some learning while still feeling like a holiday treat.
