My eight-year-old assembled this entirely on his own in one afternoon, and the satisfaction on his face when the wheels finally turned was priceless. The way the gears and axles snap together teaches real mechanical logic without needing any screens. We've already started planning our second build.

The rubber band mechanism really clicked for my daughter after a couple tries, and she loved racing her finished car down the hallway. It kept her engaged for way longer than I expected, and she actually grasped how the axle transfers power. Perfect for a curious 8-year-old.

My son spent a whole rainy afternoon snapping the pieces together, and the way the gears click into place really shows how the mechanics work. It’s sturdy enough that he’s already raced it across the floor a dozen times without anything falling apart.
