SolarFlower Golden Sunrise

The way this little sunflower tracks the sun is honestly mesmerizing—my daughter spent the whole afternoon watching the petals shift as the light moved. Assembly took us maybe 90 minutes with a few giggles over the tiny gears, and it's been spinning on our windowsill every sunny day since.

I was pleasantly surprised how quickly the solar panel gets the petals spinning even on a partly cloudy day, and it was a fun way to teach my kid about renewable energy without any batteries.

My kid assembled it in about an hour and the stem pieces fit together tightly, which is good, but also means adult fingers got a little sore helping out. The way it tracks the sun and keeps spinning all afternoon is genuinely mesmerizing for both of us, though I wish the motion was a bit more vigoro
