The gears click together so smoothly that even my 7-year-old could assemble most of it solo, and the fact that it actually plays music when you crank it is way cooler than I expected. We've built it twice already just to hear the different tunes.

My nephew and I spent a whole rainy afternoon snapping the pieces together, and the moment it actually played a tune, his face lit up. The instructions were clear enough that he could follow most of it himself, which made the win feel like his.

My 8-year-old was glued to the table for hours assembling the xylophone-like keys and connecting the gears. The sound it actually makes when the mallets hit is surprisingly pleasant, not just random noise. It’s a fantastic way to meld engineering logic with a creative musical outlet.
