The eruption mechanic keeps everyone on edge—my family of five was screaming with laughter by the third round. It's the right mix of quick decisions and chaos for a game night that never drags.

The tension builds perfectly as the volcano starts rumbling, and when it finally erupts it sends pieces flying across the table — my group was laughing and scrambling for cover immediately. It really gets everyone thinking fast on their feet.

The first time the volcano actually erupted during our game, everyone at the table jumped and started scrambling their pieces. The lava tile mechanic really forces you to think two moves ahead, which keeps even the quietest player engaged.
