My son loves pressing the lever to raise and lower the crossing gate himself, and it clicks into place with a satisfying sound. The red warning stripes really pop against his wooden track setup.

My toddler loves pressing the button and watching the barrier go up and down. It clicks nicely into our wooden track setup and keeps his attention for a while. A simple but effective piece for any train set.

The button mechanism is sturdy enough for daily use by my kids, and the signal itself matches the wooden track scale perfectly. It would be nice if it made a sound, but the visual effect is clear and keeps them engaged during playtime.
